Senior Citizens.

Monday Club meet on Monday afternoons at 2.45 for 3.00 in Ailt an Oir. Tea and cakes are provides for the members and a special speaker or activity takes place between 3.30 pm. and 4.00 pm.

Youth Activities.

We have a very extensive calendar of youth activities .

During term time Urban Junction provides facilities for young people based in the Blackrock Methodist Church which in now used only for youth activity. Check the full facilities on offer at http://www.urban-junction.com/

There is an active Sunday Club for primary-school-aged children and a creche for under this age each Sunday in parallel with the morning Church Services.

On Wednesday evenings the Brownies meet in the church hall, see the Brownie Page.

For young people in the Dun Laoghaire and Bray areas there is a series of activities run under the leadership of our Youth Pastor.

3-6^th class Primary school

Is our children’s programme aimed at 3-6^th class, which runs every month & half approx.

This year the programme intends to look at ‘Time’ and how we can be too busy to see God in our lives, where he wants us to slow down sometimes and enjoy our lives with him.It will be a fun, action packed event with interesting ways of teaching children about God. Keep your eye on the announcements & notice boards for dates.

 

Secondary school

Youth group is for anyone in secondary school. It’s all about great fun and crazy activities which you can chill out in with your friends after a long week at school. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend! It’s on Friday nights fortnightly 7:30-9:30 on alternate weekends to ‘mettle’.

 

1-3 year Secondary school

This is for anyone in 1-3 year. It is a fun interactive bible study covering lots of important issues in depth and some great games! It’s held in Madeley beside Bray Methodist Church every Sunday fortnight at 7-8pm.

 

‘Youth Group’ ‘mettle’ & ‘Fuel’ Camp!!!

(4^th – 6^th April 08’). This will be a great weekend, with time for you to get to know loads of people you may have seen, but don’t quite know and to get to know those that you do know, better! It will be held in Densmore Lodge, Avoca, Co.Wicklow. There will be challenges, thoughts and down time also, so you will come back excited and refreshed. If you are not in any of these groups & are aged between 1^st-6^th year, you are very welcome to come also! More info will follow, but for now, talk to Andrew. Keep the date free!!!

 

4^th year secondary school -1st year in college

This is for anyone in 4^th year-1st year in college. Seeing a need for the oldies to have their own space, we are creating just that with our own, separate bible study/hang out session. This will be held every Sunday fortnight alternate weekends to Youth Group & Ignite, in Madeley beside Bray Methodist Church at 8-9:45pm.

 

1^st-6^th year secondary school

Is a chance for you if you are in 1^st-6^th year to get some God time in church in a discussion based forum. Have your say and hear what others have to say and wrap it up with what God says and you got Discussion Group!! It happens twice monthly, alternate to Communion and Family services. All welcome!

 

College or around 30

Is a Young Adults bible study group that happens every Wednesday night at 8 (venue changes). If you’re in college or around 30 and feel like understanding more about the Christian Faith and like hanging out with people then this is the place for you! We have 2 groups running and there’s always room for more!
