Covenant Service

The first Sunday in January is traditionally the day on which Irish Methodist churches hold their annual Covenant Service. The service culminates with the celebration of Holy Communion.

The concept of the Covenant is based on the Old Testament accounts of covenants between God and the Jewish people. It reminds us of all that God has done for his people and in return His people commit themselves to His service.

Services during Lockdown

During the restrictions to combat the cover-19 virus, all church services were cancelled.
From Sunday 5th July a limited number will have the opportunity to meet again in our church, although with special procedures to keep everybody safe and maintain social distancing. These services will be streamed live at the normal service time of 11.00am. The link to this streaming service will be shown on our service page The service will continue to be available after the live streaming for the following week.
A monthly circuit communion service will also be live on Facebook.
